My battery didn’t discharge or export during an event

Edited

During an event we send a command to every enrolled battery asking it to export. Occasionally that command doesn’t land, and the battery doesn't export or dispatch. The cause isn’t always something we can see or control, because it can sit with the battery’s firmware, the manufacturer’s servers, or the connection between us and your system. Usually it’s a one-off and works fine at the next event.

Two things worth knowing:

  • You can export manually. If your battery doesn’t export automatically, you can do it yourself during the event window and still be credited. See Exporting manually during an event.

  • Your £10 a month is safe. Your guaranteed minimum is paid regardless of whether your battery took part in any given event.

If your battery has repeatedly failed to export during an Axle event and you'd like our team to investigate, you can report it to our technical team following these steps:

  1. Log into your Axle account

  2. Select Account

  3. Select Support

  4. Select 'Report an event issue'

  5. Select 'Failed dispatch' and submit your details
