Does Axle work with my tariff, supplier or Feed-in Tariff?

Axle works with every energy supplier and tariff in the UK, with two exceptions: Intelligent Octopus Go and Intelligent Octopus Flux. We don’t have any issue with you using those alongside Axle, but those tariffs have their own terms around third-party control, so we’d recommend checking directly with Octopus first.

You can keep managing your battery to suit your tariff exactly as you do now, including dynamic tariffs like Octopus Agile or Flux, and Axle simply steps in during grid events.

A few things worth knowing:

• Feed-in Tariff. Taking part won’t affect your FIT payments, if you receive them.

• Octopus Saving Sessions. Grid rules allow only one flexibility scheme per meter at a time, so you can’t take part in Octopus Saving Sessions and Axle events in the same season.

• EV charger clash on Octopus. If Octopus flags a clash with your EV charger, that isn’t caused by Axle, as our programme only works with batteries. It’s worth checking with Octopus.
